Mount-Only Fine Art Prints
Three sizes of image can be printed, mounted, and shipped without a frame. The fine art print is supplied sandwiched between foam backing board and a mat board in a color selected as an option at time of purchase. Examples are shown below. Customers may select mount-only and frame the fine art print themselves.
4" x 6"
Smallest mount-only print provided with a 1" mat border
8" x 12"
Medium sized mount-only print provided with a 2" mat border.
12" x 18"
12" x 18" is the largest mount-only print available and is supplied with a 2" mat border
Framed Fine Art Prints
For customers that select the option of a framed fine art print, sizes range from 4" x 6" to 16" x 24" for standard prints, and up to 24" x 36" for limited edition fine art prints. Some images are oriented as portrait, some as landscape, some are square, and some are landscape panorama. Panorama images are at a 1:3 ratio and 8" x 23" in size. Each print is mounted on self adhesive foam board and framed with a single mat and in a wooden or metal frame selected at time of purchase.
4" x 6" to 16" x 24"
Typical frame sizes (larger prints are special order) supplied with a 1" matt for 4" x 6" prints and 2" mat border for larger prints. the frame shown is a silver frame with a visible border width of 5/16".
24" x 36"
Limited edition prints can be printed and framed up to 24" x 36" in wood or metal, matted with a 2" border. The metal frame for these large, limited edition, framed prints has been increased in width to 29/32", which is more proportional and more robust for larger frames.
8" x 23" (Panorama)
A panorama fine art print can be mount-only with a 2" mat border, or framed in wood or metal.
Frame Types
Frame type is selected at time of purchase. By selecting to frame your fine art print you are engaging Lyntel to make sure you receive the highest quality product. Please be aware that COVID-19 delays may occur because some frame types can fall temporarily out-of-stock as a result of factory shutdowns. We ask for your email so that we may contact you to keep you informed of delivery of your selected purchase.
Metal Frame Options
Classic silver or black museum style frames are available with a discrete 5/16" edge that does not distract from the fine art print.
Charcoal Wood Frame Option
A 1-3/4" wide solid wood frame in charcoal stained veneer bestows a simple and elegant look to each print.
Natural Wood Frame Option
A 1-3/4" wide natural wood frame provides a bright yet delicate look that complements the selected print.
Mounting Details
The following mat color options and backing details apply to each fine art print; additional glazing details apply if you choose a framed print .
Mat Colors
One of the mat colors shown above can be selected for each image as an option at time of purchase.
Backing
Quality self-adhesive foam backing board is used to mount each fine art print.
Acrylic Glazing
For framed prints, frame glazing protects the artwork and Acrylic (Plex) is used as standard. (Not available for mount-only fine art prints.)
